Lift the bike and insert the front tire between the metal pieces. Line up the bottom wheel with the lower wall protector thingy. Then, the whole thing folds against the wall, almost like an ironing board.

The bike sticks out at a slight angle even when folded against the wall. Setup directions are not entirely accurate (tools needed).
